This 45 minute workshop equips soccer leaders with the basic knowledge to develop a successful disability soccer program. Participants will learn how to make soccer more accessible and inclusive for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the game.

In-person courses that support coaches working with athletes with a disability are available from Soccability Canada on a case by case basis and tailored to your local needs. This first ever Canadian online course helps make learning more accessible and affordable. Think of it as a gateway to learning about this fantastic part of the game and from there we can schedule an in-person workshop with on-field experience and great content that coaches can benefit from as they prepare to launch your program.

Soccability Canada had the pleasure of working with the players of Eastside Memorial Soccer Club in Calgary, Alberta for this online module. Special thanks to Kieran Lyttle and the team at Production71 for their development of the video content, graphics and voiceover that brought this project to life. Finally, to Sara McConaghy and Dave Nutt at Canada Soccer who understood the impact that a project like this will have. Project funding provided by Sport Canada.
